My Wish the movie

THANK YOU for your interest in donating to the making of “My Wish” the movie! By being a part of this film, you will be contributing to helping people all over the world to start following their dreams! The time is perfect in today’s society for making such a film about manifesting desired realities. With the age of spiritual awareness and self improvement upon us, millions of people worldwide are open to all types of possibilities. The one void that “My Wish” will start to fill, is the longing to see examples of everyday people tapping into and applying all of the thoroughly discussed ideas about attraction and manifestation. These topics have been presented in such shows as “Oprah”, written about in best-selling books, talked about in world-wide seminars and sung about in songs we hear on the radio. What is utterly unique and unprecedented about “My Wish” is that it is a movie shot in real-time. It is not about a look back about how someone realized a dream…but rather we get to follow the real life character, Donna, as she puts her foot forward in her desired direction. She is solely equipped with a strong faith, purpose and belief that anything is possible- while not knowing the exact path that will take her to finally realizing her wish. I personally thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support!

By contributing to “My Wish”, you will also be able to add your link to “OUR WONDERFUL SUPPORTERS” page. Please read below for the detailed proposal for “My Wish” and feel free to contact me at donna9396@aol.com. A detailed budget is available upon request.
Thanks again!

"My Wish" - Proposal

www.Mywishthemovie.com

  • Creator: Donna Sirianni
  • Title: “My Wish”
  • Genre: Documentary

Logline: “What happens when an ordinary person decides to manifest… an extraordinary dream?” We invite you to share in this real-time journey. A young suburban woman, Donna Sirianni, applies the concepts of current popular belief systems, such as, the law of attraction, focus, risk taking, visualizing, gratitude, and finding joy in your life’s journey, in order to be an example as to what is possible. In her case, she wishes to fulfill a dream of becoming a successful actress and producer. She wishes to use that platform to contribute to and create projects that can help to inspire and change people’s lives for the better!

Treatment: “MY WISH”… Is a story about the real-time unfolding of the unknown journey in manifesting a dream come true. Its purpose is to inspire people to take control of their thoughts, actions, and beliefs on their journey which will guide them in manifesting their dreams.

“MY WISH” will follow the real-time journey of a young suburban woman who has a dream of becoming a successful actress and whose impact will be so great, that she will use her success to give back and bring people together in order to help inspire others to live their lives fully! For the purpose of the film, it will be completed when she gets a starring or co-starring role in a network television show or major motion picture. The final portion of the film will have a clip of her IN that role. This breakout will be seen on either television or in theatres at the SAME time this documentary is released. This will give people a feeling of personal connection in knowing how she got to where she is!

“My Wish” will also include commentary about the following topics given by leaders in our society and everyday people:

  • Faith
  • Gratitude
  • Attitude
  • Belief systems
  • Influences
  • Decision Making
  • Overcoming Obstacles
  • Stepping outside your comfort zone
  • Attracting opportunities
  • Balancing responsibilities
  • Perseverance
  • Family and friends

  • Thought provoking questions that the audience will contemplate throughout the film:

  • How BIG will you dare to imagine?
  • How outrageous do you want your life to be?
  • What would happen if you decided to go and get your dream?
  • How would you feel if you got it?
  • How much more of the real you, would you be able to express if you woke up each day loving what you were about to do?
  • What is your special gift and how can you use it to contribute in helping others?
  • How exciting are you willing to make your journey as you’re in this world?
  • How would you feel if you knew that the journey getting there…would be the most fun of all?

  • "My Wish" will also give it’s real-life character’s point of view of possible solutions to the following questions:

  • How could we make this “turning a dream into a reality” concept realistically incorporated into our daily lives?
  • How can we balance responsibilities, jobs and families while pursuing a dream?
  • How do we find time in our busy day to actually schedule “following your dream time?”
  • How do we deal with staying positive about pursuing a dream when others think it is a waste of time?
  • If you don’t have a support system, how do you develop one in yourself?
  • How do we gather the strength to stay the course when it seems like the dream might always stay just that- only a “dream”?
  • How do we overcome the fear of risk taking?

The arch of the film will start out by interviewing everyday people about what there dreams are. It will then introduce the main character in her everyday life doing her family chores and taking care of her daily responsibilities. She then introduces her goal and her planning for it. Interwoven throughout the story is commentary about how she is going about pursing her dream in relation to her belief system by leaders in our society and everyday people. We then follow her on her quest to becoming an actress- at acting classes/ auditions/ networking situations, etc. She deals with failures, challenges, choices and glimmers of possible success. Eventually there is progress in her career proving to her that her ways of thinking, as well as the actions she has been taking, are truly working. Triumphantly, she is offered the role she has been visualizing and working toward all along. Donna sets off on her career in the entertainment industry knowing that this is just the beginning of exhibiting her potential as a creative force for good!

THE NEED FOR CREATING THE “MY WISH” FILM

Today’s society is currently going through a spiritual paradigm shift. More information than ever is being offered to mainstream society about manifesting dreams, the law of attraction, energy, and the opening up of our minds, hearts and souls in believing what is possible to create in this lifetime! Shows such as “Oprah” are bringing these topics to the forefront of society. Best-selling books are being written on this topic and are often showcased in the front of all major bookstores. There are also world-wide seminars being conducted about the inner power of people and the application of that to manifesting extraordinary realities. You can also hear top-40 songs containing lyrics about the above when you tune in to any radio station!

Now is the time to start seeing examples from everyday people of how these concepts can work! Everyday people need to know that with faith, these ways of thinking and believing can produce the fulfilling life you desire. People need to see how it works. They need to see an example/proof that we actually play the biggest part of how our life is “turning out”. Seeing a person applying these concepts in real-time and achieving a dream can make it absolutely real to people and allow them to start applying these ideas to their own lives! The idea of a dream doesn’t have to stay a “dream”- it can be turned into reality. We need to see everyday people start to manifest extraordinary circumstances in their lives. We need to see the “process” of how they are getting there, so they might be able to inspire others in knowing that an extraordinary, fulfilling life is absolutely within your reach! This film will be a pioneer to many other stories of people applying these principles….eventually leading to a humanity that embraces the fact, that it is indeed the “norm” to be able to manifest whatever you desire in this life!

INTRODUCING THE "MY WISH" TEAM:

Donna Sirianni - Creator and Executive Producer

Donna Sirianni loves to explore the possibilities of life and turn them into reality for herself and others. Her mission is to inspire others in realizing their true potential in creating a grateful, exciting, fulfilling life. She applied this mission when choosing to enter the educational profession as a high school teacher in order to inspire and guide hundreds of students over almost a decade. She also mentored many incoming student teachers in the educational field. Donna Sirianni has received accolades in the press as an educator and was an innovator in many programs brought to the school to raise the level of awareness in science education. Donna eventually took “the show on the road” throughout New York State speaking at seminars and conducting workshops in helping her colleagues take the “theories” of meaningful educational practices and helping them to “apply” methods in the classroom so that these “theories” may become a “reality” in their teaching.

After having a fulfilling experience in directing a school play, Donna saw the potential that theatre, film and television has in making a difference in people’s lives. One line…said just one way…has the power to open people’s minds and hearts and can send their life in a totally different direction. Donna then took her life in a totally different direction through pursuing acting and producing. Through the media, she now has the opportunity to reach millions as an example as to what is possible. She is documenting her real-time journey in becoming an actress who will act in and produce meaningful projects that will inspire others in living extraordinary lives. Again, the continuous thread of her life is being one who can show others how to take a belief/ theory/dream and turn it into their reality. She practices living in the moment and is truly grateful for all of the circumstances and people who God has put onto her path. She resides in Long Island, New York with her wonderfully supportive husband,Tommy, and their three children. Her proudest role will always be always be that of a mom to their kids, Julia, Anthony and Angelina.

"Over the course of the last few months, I have had the great opportunity to serve as Donna's acting teacher. Donna has the necessary drive, passion, and discipline to succeed as an artist. Many actors, such as Donna, have talent, but it's hard to find that actor who can combine their talent with tenacity and a strong work ethic. Donna has all of these ingredients and more. Her drive and her ability to take risks and not back down from a challenge, make her a rare and unique artist, one that I would hire in an instant."
-Greg T. Parente (director and acting coach)

“Over a number of years, as a teacher and director, I have had the opportunity to witness a wide range of artistic creativity and abilities. Donna Sirianni impressed me from the first time we met. She was an excellent student of mine who distinctly exhibited her intelligence, creativity and diligence in my classes. I have observed the beginning stages of her acting work grow into completed and truthful roles. Her interest in acting is genuine and committed. Donna will frequently go beyond what is required in completing her work – demonstrating the curiosity and willingness to put her entire heart into a craft she intends to perfect. Goal-setting and achievement flourish in this woman. She is respected by her peers as an actor and faithful friend. Her passion for life – for family – for the well-being of others is eminently obvious and is most likely the driving force behind her quest for constant improvement in all that she does. There seems to be a blessed unrest of strength, beauty, and energy – a vitality unique with truth, desire, joy, humor – all the tools needed to preserve the health and integrity of her work. She is straight-forward and constructive – making her an invaluable team player.”
-David Shuman (director and acting coach)

Proposed Public Relations Campaign For

“My Wish”

Overview
Without a doubt, we’ve now entered the Age of Self Improvement and Personal Empowerment. Given the enormous growth of the “life coaching” industry in recent years, as well as pop culture milestones like the widespread public interest in the recent documentary “The Secret,” it is clear that millions of individuals have never been more receptive to the message that they themselves hold the power to transform their own lives in remarkable ways – and millions of people have never been more eager to take action and make their dreams a reality.
Remarkably, the normally cynical news media is now seeking to support and serve this growing trend through stories delivered through a variety of mediums -- television, radio, in print, and online.
Donna Sirianni and her film “My Wish” are perfectly positioned to serve these millions of viewers the inspirational message and “how-to-do-it” practical advice they are so passionately seeking. A wide spectrum of the national media – from network morning shows like “Good Morning America,” to reality show like “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” – recognize viewers’ appetite for stories of “real people” (like themselves) triumphing over adversity and achieving their dreams. Clearly, this is a growing trend that will continue for years to come. (Witness the fact that when Oprah Winfrey announced that she would begin teaching a ten-week webinar on author Eckhart Tolle’s “A New Earth,” half a million people registered to participate in that webinar series. So great was the viewers’ desire for this inspirational and transformative message that they weren’t even deterred by the intellectual tone of Tolle’s book or by his thick Germanic accent.) There is every reason to believe that the national news media will continue to seek out stories that inspire and offer tools for transforming one’s life. Even during the production of “My Wish,” these national news outlets (as well as local news outlets in the New York City area) will be extremely interested in following the progress of this story, and hearing Donna’s inspiring message.
Given the fact that millions of individuals share this desire for personal transformation (each pursuing their own unique dream) and the news media’s proven track record of giving viewers, listeners and readers stories of this kind, the process of giving the news media the stories they seek and the process of building an large audience eager for the official release of “My Wish” – much as “The Secret” built a huge, passionate audience
online -- are actually two sides of the same coin. Connecting with this growing audience through the vehicle of public relations at this pivotal time (a time when the public desire for this information is so enormous, and there is also great interest on the part of media “gate-keepers” to give their viewers/listeners/readers the content they desire) will clearly result in a large audience for the film, and exponential growth in the number of people who will benefit from the film’s message. (As a result, there will also be an exponential return to those making a financial investment in this project.)
With Tom Martin’s skill at presenting compelling story ideas in a way that connects with each targeted news outlet -- as well as his personal connections with hundreds of news producers, reporters, and assignment desk editors – the media’s interest in presenting stories about personal improvement and transformation can easily be served in a way that helps build an audience for this film.
Hearing Donna’s story and following the development of the film will allow people (free of the natural skepticism they bring to advertising) to recognize their own inner potential and the amazing results they can achieve in their own lives, thereby sparking their own desire to tap their inner resources and transform their lives.
The multi-faceted public relations strategy to be implemented by Tom Martin Media will combine the most effective public relations strategies with the latest technological platforms to generate widespread awareness of this project. Based on two decades of network news experience combined with knowledge of the most effective methods used by top New York public relations firms, Tom Martin is uniquely qualified to ensure that Donna’s message is heard by the widest possible (and an ever-growing) audience. As more people hear her message and become excited about the film, these individuals will become truly “evangelical” in their desire to share their enthusiasm with friends and family so that they might experience these benefits as well.

About the Author of This Public Relations Campaign
Tom Martin spent more than two decades in the fields of network news production and broadcast public relations prior to establishing Tom Martin Media, LLC.. With ABC News "Good Morning America," CBS News "Sunday Morning," and CNN (among other broadcast outlets) Tom has worked with some of the top names in the field of television news including Diane Sawyer, Charles Gibson, Charlie Rose, and the late Charles Kuralt.
Tom has collaborated with Paul McCartney, Sting, Steven Spielberg, George Soros, Tony Robbins, and Wynton Marsalis to name only a few of the "VIP's" he has profiled and interviewed over the years.
In the field of financial news, Tom has served as an on-air correspondent for the PBS "Nightly Business Report" during the George H.W. Bush administration, and he has also worked as a producer for CNN financial news. For CNN fn, Tom developed a half-hour show titled "Movers," designed to profile individuals who "move the market."
Through his independent firm -- Tom Martin Media, LLC -- Tom now offers highly-personalized public relations and video production services to individual clients with a special emphasis on empowerment and personal growth. Tom is actively involved with the nationwide non-profit educational organization Communities In Schools, and devotes a great deal of time to mentoring young people -- from grade school age through recent college graduates. He has also been actively involved each year with the Thanksgiving "basket brigade" food delivery program in the New York City area.
His mission is to help others express their individual stories with maximum effectiveness, and touch the lives of others in a powerful and lasting way. He is the proud father of a seven-year-old son (Eric) and a ten-year-old daughter (Lindsay) and is based in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Tom spends much of his time in New York City working on a wide variety of projects.

Overall Strategy

Television
Having spent two decades with America’s leading network news organizations – ABC News, CBS News, and CNN in particular -- Tom has extensive contacts with key correspondents and producers with a wide range of broadcasts – including nationally-broadcast morning shows like “Good Morning America,” NBC’s “Today” show, “The CBS Early Show,” and CNN’s “American Morning.” Other producers with whom Tom has frequent contact include those at top national broadcasts including “Oprah” and “Larry King.” For this campaign, Tom will create an ever-evolving series of media advisories charting the progress of the film and designed to emphasize timely news angles and stories of success and overcoming adversity and celebrating success.
With respect to emphasizing the project’s benefits for young people, Tom Martin has a number of useful close relationships with parenting correspondents including Ann Pleshette Murphy at “Good Morning America.”
Other valuable relationships Tom brings to this project include those with producers at national broadcasts including “Rachel Ray,” “Live with Regis and Kelly,” “The View,” “Ellen,” “The Martha Stewart Show,” and many other programs.
With respect to local broadcasts in America’s top markets, Tom Martin’s work over the past several years with dozens of interview tours have led to strong relationships with assignment editors and producers at stations in New York City and in top markets throughout the nation.
Tom is also available for the scripting and field producing of Video News Releases – short-form, “news-style” video segments that could then be distributed to a wide number of stations. Distributing these VNRs to stations would generate greater awareness of the film, and enable the production team to reach viewers throughout the nation without the need for them to visit these cities personally – especially useful for reaching audiences in smaller and hard-to-reach markets.

Radio
Tom also has extensive contacts with a variety of radio outlets in the nation’s top markets, as well as numerous nationally-syndicated interview programs such as Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Radio network and Gloria Steinem’s GreenStone Media radio network. Many of these reporters and radio talk show hosts have a special interest in stories about personal empowerment and measurable achievement. Here again, Tom will maintain a constant watch on breaking news stories for appropriate opportunities.

Print
Tom has frequent contact with editors and reporters at nationally-distributed newspapers and magazines, as well as those specifically targeting the field of success and motivation. Financial news and wellness/spirituality are other “niches” with which Tom has useful existing relationships. He also has extensive contacts among many freelance writers who contribute regular stories to these publications.

Internet Opportunities
Today, the line between content delivered online and content delivered via “old-fashioned television” has finally been declared meaningless with respect to content consumers, there has never been a better time to use blogs and online content (video clips on YouTube, etc.) to drive visitors to the “My Wish” website. Jeff Cole of the USC Annenberg School recently concluded that information consumers in their teens and twenties are now truly oblivious to the source of the content they consume – whether it comes via the internet, television, video-ipod, their cell phone, etc. Tivo technology has eliminated the need to watch any particular program at any particular time, and now young people no longer care what “platform” they use to receive educational and entertainment content. All that matters is the content itself.
Also, in this age of internet awareness, there is tremendous value in “social networking” on the internet as a way to dramatically boost public awareness of any topic or expert – especially in the area of personal empowerment and self-development. Tom has many contacts with online blogs and chat forums that will be useful in this regard. By linking with these blogs and maintaining a high profile in key online chat forums, a vast audience will learn of the progress being made on this project, and ensure a large audience for the film once it is completed. (As an example of how this pre-release “internet buzz” phenomenon can work, the “B-movie thriller” called “Snakes on a Plane” built up a huge audience eager to see the film on opening weekend, despite the ridiculous premise and low production quality of that film. Given the success of the much more “worthwhile” documentary, “The Secret,” this project is sure to enjoy widespread pre-release support on the internet.)

Commitment to Excellence and Outstanding Results
The traditional “caveat” of all public relations work applies to this proposal too, of course. The huge audience that is passionately interested in the inspiring and “how-to-do-it” message of “My Wish” suggests that the media will find the stories to be pitched through this campaign to be tremendously compelling.Tom Martin is totally committed to making this project a great success.

Daily & Weekly Progress Reports
Tom prides himself on maintaining frequent (often daily) contact with his clients, and is troubled by other PR representatives who leave clients wondering what is being done on their behalf. In fact, Tom has structured his business in a way that he is able to deliver highly-personalized attention to his clients, and frequent communication (via e-mail, phone conversations, and meeting in-person once a week) is a cornerstone of his approach to public relations representation. Tom will provide daily updates by phone, and a weekly written report via e-mail.

Thanks for checking out our film and being a part of My Wish. Remember to always..."DREAM BIG!!!"
